Resolution was decided on a coin-flip. (heads was 320x240, tails was 640x480) heads won.
Unfortunately, this was not permitted for the compo. So everything is run through a
pixel-doubling routine, making it quite a bit slower. Oh well.

Technologies used (short, 100chars):
gcc,SDL,fmod,libppm,libpbm,gimp,vim,fruityloops. Written on x86 running GNU/Linux. Tested on x86.

Technologies used (long, 320chars):
GNU/Linux, fmod for music, SDL for graphics. No 3d-acceleration. Gcc, vim, make, fruityloops, logic audio, libppm, libpbm and the gimp was used. Coded on a Lifebook P7010 and an AMD 1.7Ghz with 256Mb RAM. Tested on GNU/Linux Slackware 10(kernels 2.4.26, 2.6.1, 2.6.9), debian and gentoo.

Technologies used:

This demo has been written in ANSI C using the GNU C compiler.
SDL(Simple Directmedia Layer) has been used for video
(everything is software rendered). Fmod is used for audio playback.
All graphics (hand-drawn and pixeled) have been edited first
with the gimp, then post-edited with libppm and libpbm.
vim(Vi IMproved) was the only sourcecode editor used(because it kicks ass).
Music has been made using fruityloops and some logic audio.
Three development machines have been used:
fredd's AMD XP 2000+ machine with 256Mb RAM, 64Nb Geforce2 MX, kernel 2.4.26, gcc 3.3.4
gamkiller's Dual PIII800 machine with 768Mb RAM, 32Mb Geforce 2(and voodoo3), kernel 2.6.1, gcc 3.3.2.
gamkiller's new laptop: A Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook P7010PM: Centrino 1.1Ghz, 512Mb RAM, intel gfx, kernel 2.6.9, gcc 3.3.4
