demosCEne a demo by prime17569 for the TI-84 Plus CE You may have seen this: https://www.cemetech.net/downloads/files/2389/x3122 But now, I come to you with a new demo -- my first submission to Revision! Released in 2015, the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator is the latest in Texas Instruments' TI-84 Plus series of graphing calculators. The TI-84 Plus CE sports the following hardware: 24-bit eZ80 processor @ 48 MHz* 256 K RAM (154 K available) 4 MB Flash (3 MB available) 320 * 240 color LCD No specialized graphics hardware, everything is done by the CPU -- Learn more about the hardware here: https://ce-programming.github.io/toolchain/static/hardware.html -- *Real-world speed is much less than on paper due to hardware limitations, see https://ce-programming.github.io/toolchain/static/hardware.html#wait-states and https://wikiti.brandonw.net/index.php?title=84PCE:Wait_States This demo is best experienced on a hardware revision M or newer calculator due to the speed improvements made with this revision. Older revision calculators will work, but the demo will run slower. Python edition calculators should work, but I do not own one to test with, so I cannot 100% guarantee it. Installation Instructions: Use TI Connect CE to transfer files. Make sure you transfer all files to the Archive, not the RAM. 1. Transfer the CE C Libraries to your calculator: https://tiny.cc/clibs 2. Transfer all AppVars in the `appvar/` folder 3. Transfer all programs (files ending in .8xp) Before running the demo, unplug the USB cable from the calculator, then press [2nd] [+] [7] [1] [2] to clear the RAM. Then run the program called DEMOSCEN to start the demo. Enjoy! This demo was developed using the CE C Toolchain, available here: https://github.com/CE-Programming/toolchain . See documentation here: https://ce-programming.github.io/toolchain/ . This demo parses original scene data by Leonard/Oxygene. Used with permission. Special thanks to Heaven6502 for helping me find a copy of the data file. Greets to the Cemetech community -- https://www.cemetech.net -- for answering my many questions in SAX chat. - prime17569 2025-MM-DD
