.Requirements.
--------------
* To run correctly, the intro should run at exactly 60 FPS. Otherwise
it will run slower or faster than it was designed for
To ensure 60 FPS, you need:
- A reasonable NVidia fast video card. For reference, the 720 version runs
comfortably on a mobile RTX 3060 that is plugged in. Sorry, no AMD
support this time because they changed their shader compiler and the
new one is painfully pedantic.
- a 60-Hz display mode, if you have a 144 or similar fast screen
- V-Sync set to Always On in the drivers
- Driver features that limit limits the FPS to 30 should be turned off.
- On a laptop, use the discrete version
* 300 MB ram (for the Crinkler decompression)
* Tested on Windows 11 only
* 4.5 kb diskspace

.About the intro.

It started as a quick intro to support RSync 2025, although I'm quite happy with some
of the effect. I've wanted to do these Physarum transport effects ever since I saw
La vie opportuniste / Razor 1911. The downside is that it's framerate-dependant, on
the other hand the effects are not really taxing the GPU. Finding music was problematic,
thanks to Bjaan for helping me out! This makes it the first time I used Sointu. The end
result is a hair above 4K, I'm fairly sure I could make it one but as there is only a
generic intro compo, I'm going to enjoy the party. Greets to everyone I know at RSync,
enjoy the compos!
