Revision 2012 Invitation by Focus Design [web]
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - About this invitation: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Back in November 2011, Corial / Focus Design handed Booster an A1200 that had been lying in a shed for a few years. After it thawed from being in the danish cold it was fitted with a compact flash card and a wifi adapter and Booster brushed off his AsmPro skills. Having re-gained a lot of motivation for Amiga-coding that had been dormant since the late nineties, Booster agreed with D.Fox to do an Amiga invite for Revision 2012 - the first Amiga invite for an easter party in a loooong time, it would turn out. Planning began; Farfar started doing graphics and mockups and the fabulous Hoffman agreed to do a tune while Booster got some effects working. Everything was dandy! And then disaster struck! The Compact Flash card died and months of code, along with a lot of motivation, was lost. It was looking bad for the Amiga invite... Still unaware what had happened, Hoffman had made a preview of the tune, which, having a spot-on vibe and feel, brought back the motivation - but now time was an issue, so what to do? Let's give Optima a call and hope for the best! Feeling very inspired by the tune from Hoffman, Optima agreed to pick up the remains of the project, mix it with some of his already existing effects and bake it in the assembly oven to result in this Amiga invitation for Revision 2012!
