"Hello everybody- bet you're suprised that we're back! Did you think that there
would be only one issue of PURE BOLLOCKS? No way, we've just had to come back
for more! And now we're bigger and better than the last issue- which is not
very hard for fucks sake!"
IN THIS ISSUE:
* The longest editorial/real-time ever written, (possibly) including a in-depth
in report on Johnny Ball getting elected as rector of Glasgow University.
* The first How-to articles on the Internet to ever appear in an Atari diskmag.
* "ALL THOSE WHO SLAG OFF OTHER PEOPLE IN THE SCENE ARE A BUNCH OF LAME CODE
RIPPERS WHO LOOK LIKE THEY CRAWLED OUT OF A RUBBISH HEAP!" - An subtle guide to
flaming by EGB's Smelly Sox.
* Rock reviews and features on The Orb and The Disposable Heroes of Hipophrasy.
* "Film Bollocks 93"- all the latest films from '93. (Including in a hidden article,
"Reservoir Dogs"!)
* All the doc files from the three Hopeless Lamers menus.
* Various articles from the then-banned "Jolly Roger's Cookbook".
* Section on "Cyberspace and it's legal implications".
* Mr C "rap".
* "The Dark Wheel"- novella released with the original release of "Elite".
INTROS:
* The first intro fade-to-pic: EGB's Smelly Sox's "FAST" parody. (Fade from red.)
* Flowerman's revolutionary "Made in Scotland" texture mapped globe intro
* EGB's Smelly Sox's legendary "We Ripped Off Equinoxes Bollocks!" intro
* Ripped off intro.
QUIRKS:
* All of the archived .ZIP files on disk A are protected with the password
"zipided00dah". (As explained in the article "Programs on Disk 1", this was
a "special test, just to see if you're properly reading this!".)
* The hidden article in PB #22 (A review of "Reservoir Dogs".) is actually only
accessible from the menu from PB #23. (The first hidden article.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
RUNNING PB #22:
* ON ATARI COMPUTERS- Use a Magic Shadow Archiver (MSA) compatible application to
extract "PB22A.MSA" and "PB22A.MSA" to two blank floppy disks. Insert disk A and
restart the computer.
* ON ATARI EMULATORS- Mount the file "PB22A.MSA" as a floppy disk in the emulator and
"reset" it. When the emulator asks for "Disk B", mount the file "PB22B.MSA"
PB22 is compatible with PacifiST, STeem and SainT emulators.
