mfx presents "deities" Final Version This demonstration won the demo competition at the Breakpoint 2006 demoparty held in Bingen-am-Rhein (Germany) during the easter weekend of 2006 (14.4.2006-17.4.2006). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- credits: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- code: uncle-x, pommak, heat, droid additional code: rainmaker, 216 3d-models: visualice, droid additional 3d-models: uncle-x, scoopr graphics & textures: visualice, synteesi additional graphics & textures: uncle-x, pommak, droid soundtrack: 1in10 vs. Irschtas direction & design: uncle-x, pommak original concept and ideas: mel funktion --------------------------------------------------------------------------- technical info: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- We recommend atleast 512 megabytes of RAM. Pixel shaders are also required. This demo has been tested on a variety of platforms, and no further crashing has been observed. We recommend a gfx card comparable to atleast a mobility radeon 9600. One Mobility Radeon 9700 we tested this on runs very sluggishly in the final scenes. go figure. You can enjoy the demo in two ways: "Compo version" (check the "Compo version" checkbox in the splash screen) This is roughly 99.9% identical to the one released at breakpoint. Some #defines have been tweaked, but no additional content has been created. "Final version" (uncheck the "Compo version" checkbox in the splash screen) The final version has some minor improvements in content, camera paths etc, and is more true to our original vision. Due to some added content the final version runs a bit more slowly in some scenes when compared to the compo version. ... Both versions have the crashing bug removed that plagued the original compo version. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- contact: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://mfx.scene.org http://www.irschtas.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------- greetings: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone we know and love. You are too numerous to list. Extra special greets to all the breakpoint organizers. You did an amazing job again!
