With Firefox, just open the kites.html from local file system. For Chrome, ensure that all existing Chrome instances are closed/killed and run a new Chrome instance from command line with --allow-file-access-from-files command line argument. This allows bypassing Chrome cross-origin (CORS) restrictions. Then open the kites.html directly from local file system with newly opened Chrome instance. The intro takes a while to load. Ignore possible browser page unresponsive dialogs and wait patiently until the browser screen says "ready! press enter.". Then the intro can be started by pressing enter. The intro tries to acquire fullscreen automatically after the ready screen. Fullscreen can be exited by pressing esc and the whole browser window closed (in Windows) by pressing alt-f4. ---- Bits Lab - 2026-02-11 18:30
