yes. you read wrong. the name is egg'o-trip. boy, what a name for
a demo, wouldn't you say? imagine what it's like to draw a decent
diz or ascii logo of it? so stop complaining and read.
what? when? who? how? where? why?
soo... we made a demo. released it at demolition'96, where it got
the 2nd place at the democompo. 'we' meaning cobra creations. the
demo was coded in quite a short time - and it shows. have a look.
but..
it doesn't work? shit happens. we have tested it with and without
qemm, with a sound blaster and with a gus - but then again, there
might just be some other configurations out there... one thing is
for sure, however, you need to have at least a 486 to run it, but
having a dx4 or pentium shouldn't hurt :).
oh, yeah.
almost forgot: egg'o uses midas sound system for sound, and pmode
by tran just for fun. feel free to put it into any cd-rom. if you
could tell about it to us, though, we would appreciate it. and to
be sure, we take no responsibility of anything this demo might do
to your system. if it fucks up your harddisk or monitor - keep it
to yourself.
