Fizzleboot by void
[ Overview ] "Fizzleboot" is a 1K bootblock (1024 bytes) intro. What is presented is a transition effect named "Fizzle fade", you can find more details about it here https://fabiensanglard.net/fizzlefade/ [ System requirements ] A minimum of a PAL Commodore Amiga 500 1.3 . [ How to run ] The intro is distributed as follows: - Fizzleboot.adf bootable disk - Fizzleboot.bin bootblock application - Fizzleboot.exe application that can be executed from the command line - Fizzleboot.txt this readme text file Press the left mouse button to exit and boot to DOS. Keep the right mouse button pressed to pause the effect, release to continue. Note: the adf file is fabricated only to showcase that the bootblock intro gets executed, therefore booting to DOS is initiated but not finalized. [ Background information ] The intro makes use of AmigaOS api calls and it is multitasking friendly. No compression is used and there is room left. This is my very first attempt at size coding.
