The original animation by Julien JDM - Bounty/Banana can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jQvUKl85oQ *********************************************************************** The animation was downscaled and compressed according to the specifi- cations of the Megadrive (320x240, 7.6Mhz CPU, 64KB of video RAM, 4MB of cart storage) The lossy compression is based on an implementation of the k-modes clustering algorithm. Approximately 25% of the original data is actually stored on the cartridge to re-generate each frame of the original animation. The audio is compressed as well, using a similar technique. When playing, the video is unpacked on the fly by the 68000 processor, the audio is live decoded by the Z80 processor found on the Megadrive.
