One by Fatal Justice
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ONE - BY FATAL JUSTICE ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── This is the final version of the "ONE" demo, that was meant to be released at the X-95 party in Utrecht. But because of some ugly happenings, we were not able to show it on the big screen... REQUIREMENTS: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── To run the demo your system should be equipt with the following stuff: - a 386DX, but to enjoy this you should have a 486DX with VLB. - about 550kB free conventional memory. - at least 3000kB of XMS. - no installed protected-mode drivers like EMM386 or QEMM! - an installed HIMEM.SYS driver with 64 free XMS handles! Add to your config.sys: DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS /NUMHANDLES=64 Don't panic - this will take 192 Bytes of your memory! Remember that 64 handles must be FREE - if you have a lot of other drivers installed (SMARTDRV, 4DOS etc.) that use some handles, too, increase the number to 128!!! - a register compatible vga-card with at least the standard 256kB. - a Gravis Ultrasound with at least 512kB sample-memory. If you want a boring version, you can also run the demo without sound! - a powerful HiFi-system connected with your sound-device. - several cool drinks of your choice ( are optional... ) BUGS: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── We don't have encountered any bugs yet. But if anything goes wrong while or after running the demo you should contact us (please include some information about your system and when/how the bug appears! Something like "It sucks, cause it hangs my computer" doesn't really help in smashing that little insect). GREETINGS: ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Here are again the complete group-greetings for those of you who don't want to watch the hole end-scroller (listed in alphabetical order): B l a n k D u s t I g u a n a I m p h o b i a J u s t F o r F u n K e e n L i k e F r o g s L e g e n d D e s i g n M a s s i v e N - F a c t o r P u r p l e S u b s t a n c e S u c c e s s S u r p r i s e !
