420 years of Teletext A Teletext demo for your Raspberry Pi and your old TV. Preferably very old TVs, "modern" TVs (~2000 and later) often only support a page refresh rate of 3 fps. I wish I was joking. Huge thanks to Alistair Buxton for "raspi-telext", see: https://github.com/ali1234/raspi-teletext Coded in kotlin, so this requires a JRE to run on the Raspberry. To run: $ cd raspi-teletext $ (make and stuff...) $ sudo ./tvctl on $ nc -l 2000 | ./teletext - And in parallel: $ java -cp teletext-tools DemoRunnerKt -host 127.0.0.1 -port 2000 -fps 25 -time false -audio true
