 A little over 100 days ago, I put forth a challenge:

  Make a zooming checkerboard effect with the most
  simultaneously visible, independently moving and
  independently colored layers, running 50 FPS in
  at least 320 ╫ 256 resolution on an Amiga 500
  with 512k slow memory expansion.

 This is my own contribution to the challenge. :)


The effect was coded in ASM-One on an Amiga 600, and the
intro was scripted in Lua using a custom scripting tool.
