│ Welcome to Chapter Numero 7 my friends,
│
│ again a great result by hardworkin people... we all hope that you
│ gonna like this release as we do and give us some respect in form
│ of comments or similiar ways to tell us whatcha think.
│
│ Anyway, the concept is the same as in Chapter 6. Our well know SVGA
│ shell seems to be running on all machines so that we can gurantee high
│ performance. Best results you get with a Gravis Ultrasound or Sound-
│ blaster AWE32 (min. 2megs).
│
│ The music in this release is totally different. Got some Underground
│ house, acid stuff, Oldskool House, Trance and of course something fast
│ to move to. Though, enuff to make yar head go round and round =). At
│ this point just an comment to packet size. Again we blow yar harddrive
│ with about 8megs. Some people may think, that is to much for an chapter
│ but remember the time between this and chapter 6 and in my view we are
│ on the right way...
│

│ If you want to experience the full Chapter 7, you must copy the content
│ of all five archives into one directory, for example 'C:\CHAPTER7'.
│ But you can also just install disk 1 and one up to six of the other
│ archives - you will just not be able to listen to all songs. If you
│ have already 16PLAY or another DMF-player capable of 16-bit samples you
│ can replay all songs without the files in archive of disk 1.
│ Nevertheless, complete installation is highly recommended!

│ The SVGA-Shell needs a VESA-driver installed, some newer cards have it
│ in ROM already. You can move in the shell with the arrow keys or TAB.
│ Escape stops first the song and exists then the shell. You can change
│ the master volume with +/- - use this if you get distortion or if the
│ sound if too low (like on AWE32).
│ Before you can listen to the songs, you must first select your
│ sounddevice. If you got wrong, reboot and delete CHAPTER7.CFG.
│
│ Please refer to the other textfile (*.RR) that come with this package
│ if you have special questions.
│
│ If you encounter problems with the SVGA-shell, please report them to
│ us, and an update will follow.
