Something from Mars? by Xtatic
■ Something (spookily enough) from Mars? (final version) ■ 64k intro by Xtatic ■ Why ? well there was this little bbs demo competition, anyway Shock decided to write a shitty little intro for it, but then Raster got a hold, and started improving.. then Goblin had a look, as well as Legend.. suddenly ideas started flowing for a 64k demo, and Something? evolved to the little heap of code it is now... ■ System Requirements ? 486dx something or other minimum (although it is really slow) a maths-copro definately.... you would be laughing otherwise... a vga graphics card... heheh.. although it is recomended that you use a GUS and a Pentium 100 for at least some decent viewing... oh, and if you have noticed, the executable is a little bigger then you might have expected (ie. greater then 64k) but that is because it is a final version. hey, bug-fixes can be big, well not that big. ■ Design ? Heheheheh.... =) well I (Shock) did try. ■ Greets ? Xtatic Members, Danny, Ravian, Made, Thor, Phoenix, Rez, Gobalina, Unreal, Java, Lonewolf, Frenzy, Feather, Gedge, Black Artist, Virago, Zack, Orome, Gyr, Zoon, Programmer, Niko, Midnight, Zed, Wog, Galvatron, Otto Chrons, Vastator, Vector, and everyone else we left out.... like Gaffer... and Statix... and others... =) these are people who we respect, know, or threw in the greets for the hell of it. ■ Disclaimer ? Xtatic do not take any responsibility for what might happen when you run this little contraption, after all nothing has happened to our machines... what it may do to your mind is another thing... but we are not responsible... we are perfectly sane. ■ Probs ? hmm, just don't run this under a Win'95 dosshell prompt if you don't have a GUS, as it seems to bug, but runs fine under straight dos. ■ Credits ? code by Shock, Raster & Goblin graphics by Goblin music by Legend design by Shock music system by Pascal (MXM play) ■ Contact ? try http://www.post1.com/~xtatic for anything about us... ■ Alas this must end.... good night...
