Shadow/Noice Running the demo: To run it you will need a J2ME device (cellphone etc.) which supports MIDP2.0 and CLDC1.1. Successfully tested on Nokia 6630 and Sony Ericsson K750. Release info: Yesterday I started wondering if it was possible to do a 4k intro in J2ME. I dug out some old test-effects, did some size-optimizing and found out that is was! :) I named the release "Proof of Concept" since it really isn't much of a demo, just some oldschool effects strung together. At first I wanted to have some MIDI-music playing aswell, but it was hard to find a good tune with reasonable size (that is, a couple of hundred bytes at most) so instead I decided to go for more effects instead. The reason for this rather simple intro needing CLDC1.1 is that I need the math-library to precalc the sine tables, since I couldn't fit a precacled sine table with reasonable quality under the size limit.
