Disk Maggie 05 by The Lost Boys
MAGGIE ISSUE 5
THE ANNIVERSARY ISSUE
BY THE MAGGIE TEAM
We are pround to present you another issue of Disk Maggie. This
read me will be very short as there is barely 1K left on the
disc. This issue roughly contains about 1.3 megabyte of unpacked
data. Many game reviews, articles, pictures, sources, utilities
and whatever we thought you might find useful.
A big thanks goes to all the contributors and also to our readers
for always encouraging us to continue. There will be an
unofficial release of Maggie 6, called the SECOND HAND issue.
This will probably not be Budgie as it will be rather different.
Watch out and see for yourself. Now I will stop and wish you a
lot of fun reading our anniversary issue as Maggie has now been
around for exactly a year and we hope to be able to do it at
least for another year, but remember that this is only possible
with your help.
When I wrote this read me I did not have the Charts. Now they
have arrived and they are too large ! So in order to fit them on
this disc I have had to remove many articles. This will make it
even more likely that I will release another Issue of Maggie in
the very near future.
This Issue also has a hidden article with a password with which
you can enter the article straight away. The password is the name
of a game which will sell many copies and is sold by en excellent
German company. The company is owned by the author of Wings of
Death II. Otherwise if you want to get into the hidden article
you have to type in at least 30 different demo crews, or
companies or drinks or single famous people. So far we have 90
different inputs and I am intending to extend the dictionary to
large input.
The next issue of Maggie will contain an excellent picture
ripping utility. Apparently it works well (says the author). The
program is fully written in GFA Basic 2. God, it's raining here.
I do not know what to write here so I will stop, actually the
rain has gotten worse....

P.S.: On the 11th of June I will be 18 and I am expecting loads
birthday cards. Last year I managed to receive 30 cards
from computer people and I am trying to beat 'dis.
