The demo is Public Domain. Meaning (for those of you who didn't know) : 1) - THAT THE PROGRAM AND DATA MAY BE SPREAD FREELY AT NO COMMERCIAL TERMS !! 2) - THE PROGRAM DATA AND SOURCE (IN THE WHOLE OR PARTS OF IT ) MAY NOT BE USED FOR OWN PURPOSES. (IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE, TRY TO CONTACT US) ******************************************************************************* Hardware and software required What you need : - DOS version 2.0 or above. - 440K main memory fre or more. - An EGA or VGA card, this demo runs on 640x200 16 colors. - The most important thing : A SOUND BLASTER CARD. Note : If you don't have a sound blaster card, you can still run the demo pressing ESCAPE will jump back to DOS. ******************************************************************************* Running the DEMO and possible options To start the demo run : U4CHAPPY.EXE [filename.ext] Use the option 'filename.ext' if your soundblaster hasn't got the default settings, Port 220H and IRQ 3. In normal cases 'filename.ext' is CT-VOICE.DRV, but you can also use a other filename, if you renamed the driver. Pressing ESCAPE quits the demo. ******************************************************************************* FILE LIST This demo exist of four files : - U4CHAPPY.EXE 18715 , execute file - BIRTHDAY.U4C 397508 , data file - U4CHAPPY.DOC 3068 , this document ******************************************************************************* Some note's for those who are concerned This demo was created to be one of the first SOUNDBLASTER demo's to demonstrate the DAC (Digatal Anolog Converter) of the SOUNDBLASTER.
