Have a look to the News.txt file to see the new features and resolved bugs. Actually some features are buggy and I prefer to disable them, for example: - Instrument vibrato is disabled. - Masking cut&paste is disabled. - Some VST plugins could crash the program. Be careful, test them before to use them. - Other ones... You can copy the keyb.cfg file from an older skale version to the actual skale directory if you want to use your old keyboard shortcuts. By now I've no time to write any documentation;( If you need help try the www.skale.org forums where you can ask your questions to other skale users). ------------------------------------- Package Files ------------------------------------- / Skale.exe Windows executable ConfigSkale.exe Windows config utility Skale.dat Internal data file Skale.x86 Linux executable (compiled under RedHat 9.0) SkaleLinux.cfg Linux config KeybLinux.cfg Linux keyboard shortcuts SkaleVSTi.dll VSTi version to run Skale under VSTi hosts. / Skins --> Skins Default.sks Default Skin /FXs --> Skale's own sound effect plugins (for now only for Windows) SChorus.dll A simple Chorus. Use the Config Utility to create the config files (Skale.cfg and Keyb.cfg) The main config file (Skale.cfg) can be edited manually too. The Keyboard shortcuts file actually is binary (in the future it will be ASCII). After it run the Skale.exe file and enjoy it!! ----------- Linux x86 ----------- The configuration file under Linux is SkaleLinux.cfg. Modify manually if needed (sorry, no time to build a Linux config file editor). The keys shortcuts are saved into a binary file called KeybLinux.cfg (I'll change as soon as I can to ASCII). The program has been compiled under RedHat 9.0 (Skale.x86). Tell me if you've some problem under another distribution. Under Linux, Skale needs the SDL library installed to run. Thanks to ccm (hi linux master!) for his support. ----------- Macintosh ----------- By now I've not access to a Macintosh so there's not a MAC version. --------- License --------- Skale is FREE. It means you have not to pay for use it. This is not a commercial program so there is no warranty. Use it at your own risk. --------------------- Minimum requirements --------------------- Pentium II 16bit Graphic Card (at least) Under Windows: Microsoft Windows 9x/2000/XP DirectX 7.0 Under Linux: SDL glibc 2.3 ----------- Greetings ----------- Regards to all my friends: acidbeat, ago, arguru, astharoth, awesome, balder, barman, blizzard, bob, bp, bpm, casty, calpe, ccm, chip, cimedia, corsario, drkami, dr.pain, dr.slump, elfhood, elric, enlar, ent, estrayk, evelred, flamerz, frizhard, garrofi, ged , gui, ham, hlod-wig, interface, ithaqua, jamque, jare, jcab, jcl, jeslan, josss, klauz, kile, kustom, lightman, lestat, liso, mac, mat!, mc_tr, mep, micro, mr.pooyan, multivac, naiad, naif, nork, newalpha, nefron, nitro, noisyman, pasop, peskanov, pocket, raveon, reality3d, reboot, real ice, recena, ryan, shine, silenci, sin, smash!, sml, snaked, sole, spite, spock, talsit de cod, tekno, tilah, tolemac, trace, trasher, tuchi, turbo_bit, unai, vampys, vaw, wally, wonder, yakare, yero, yomismo, yuio and the others I forget!!! --------- Support --------- www.skale.org Domain: Flamerz WebPage Hosting: RealIce SceneSp Mirror: Recena/K5 Forums, tutorials: st3vie/Binary Deception, dBlues, Tranceparent, vereiser ------------------ Development Team ------------------ Idea, Concept and Code: Ruben Ramos Salvador Baktery/Chanka baktery@skale.org Gfx and Support: Victor Vergara Awesome/Wild bits info@awezoom.com Support: Senno During aka st3vie st3vie@gmail.com Skale own FX plugins: Sergio Fernandez Albacete aka SergioDJ sfalbacete@hotmail.com Skale logo: Vicento Demaar Old Loading Gfx: Daniel Garcia aka Yakare/Wild bits yakare@exelweis.com Auxiliar Gfx: Jaime Sanchez Elias aka Spite/TDR^Concept jsanchez@comunix98.com Ivan de Andres aka Oxhido http://www.oxhido.com HlodRay Visual plugin: Lluis Gesa Bote aka HlodWig/Anaconda hlod-wig@anacondis.com Sentimental support and Betatesting: ALICIA See you on the next release!!!!, Baktery.
