To run the intro with Firefox just open the <intro>.html from local file system. The intro takes a while to load. Ignore possible browser page unresponsive dialogs and wait patiently until the browser screen says ready. Then the intro can be started by pressing enter. The intro tries to acquire fullscreen automatically after the ready screen.
