After Starship returned from Space on June 6 for the first time, I felt the epic Five Tones ringing in my head all day, so I had to code this. Not a technical masterpiece, independent envelope generators for the four voices, colour matches volume of three of the voices (r/g/b). I'm ready for the aliens!

the envelope values of 3 voices are mapped to the r/g/b channels of the colour. Notes are played on different voices each time, so there will be different combinations of rgb, resulting in the flickering. The relevant code is above the label .delay

Oh what the hell, it may be a repetitive five notes but what ICONIC five notes they are! I always loved that movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, really atmospheric :)

(and maybe even if you are not) you should give Robert McCammon's
"The Border" a try. It is a weird, exciting, disturbing, insane and scary
story. I liked it a lot and especially the hero of the story.
