This was one of those intros where I think the "low frequency noise" approach to audio worked really well. Too often it's just rumbling in the background, disconnected to the visuals... Overall, very nice; maybe the subject matter is a bit overused at this point, but at least you didn't nuke it ;)

@pestis: The idea for the sound was to mimic the low frequency noise recorded by space probes and add some synch with the ALIEN-like text writer.
Funnily, I think this is my first prod featuring a space scene with a planet and stars.

The concept really worked, it was well put together.

But the color scheme is a bit wrong, no ? Venus seen from space is whitish with (very light) hints of yellow, isn't it ? Old IR imaging reference, perhaps ?

Aside from the limited palette of pico8, I honestly don't know how close one has to get to venus, or at which angle, to see the brown-red of the rocks.
