Thumbs up for the nostalgia value this musicdisk provided to me. Back when, in the 90s, I had my first IBM Compatible PC with a SoundBlaster card, listening to MIDI music on the OPL3 soundchip.

Umm it's latin and known everywhere, not just in Germany and Portugal :)
For sure, this word is not known everywhere, Serpent. Alot languages have nothing to do with latin. Look here for example on this side :)
