Hoo boi, I really wanted this to be good, but... just no :( I mean, brutalism is my jam (even if you got inspired by the Salk campus a bit too obviously), the asset quality is fantastic, the music is great, and I'd even forgive Unity cos at least it runs on my machine, but there's an implied story that's never explained, the main character just feels out of place (the fact that it only has an idle and a walk cycle doesn't help), the camera paths have an obvious smoothstep that should've been changed to constant velocity, the particle burst just comes out of nowhere, and the music ends before the visuals.

I guess the thing I take away from this is that this is a great example why direction matters so much in a demo in 2022.

Would be nicer if there was a logical end of the »story«. Music is awesome.

the lighting / rendering looks great, the mood feels fitting and somber which i like. but i didn't get the story with the kid.

I'm afraid I need to agree with gargaj and ps on this - with better direction this could've been a killer demo, but now it just leaves me puzzled and empty
