obviously i'm a fan, but the music is a departure from the beanbag style (at least the first half is) and it's good to hear you try a new sound

yeah, whatever mate - the proportion of demoscene prods that have source included is incredibly low, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the prod, nor our enjoyment of it. I'm not seeing anything under "contributions to prods" on your profile....

Well, you could show some of your prods and their source :)

Also, if you're terribly curious, nothing stops you from disassembling the prod and inspecting the source. Shader source is saved as text in the executable.

well now, i have a good mind to encrypt my shaders from now on!

seriously though.. does somebody really think it worth to downvote somebody's second ever demo just because source not provided? did they really want to steal the tricks i got off the OpenGL tutorial pages that you can just go google up yourself? well ok then lmao. i had in fact intended all along to release the source code for my demo engine, at the point that it's actually finished and useful to anybody else, along with all demos i made while developing it, as examples.

But this is all a little irrelevant, since it is Demo Compo, not Source Code Compo, and i don't owe anyone anyshit. Never seen any such comment on any other demo. Smacks of bully woman who does computer, to me.
Pretty good for a second OpenGL demo made in 5 days. I like polyhedra a lot anyway. Does the shape that rises from the ground have an official name?

the shape in the middle is basically just a pair of septagonal prisms where i rotated the vertices round at the top and bottom and put a point on the top. but i call it the Carousel, after the first demo. hadn't really planned on using it more than once tbh but i didn't have any other ideas but it's kinda become its own thing now so expect to see more of it lmao.
Just the perfect length for the content. Music is clearly the strongest part here.

Also: Totally stupid to give a thumb-down for something that can be fixed and is not an intrinsic part of the prod itself.
