Cool release! But I miss a video and some technicals details. What about an UEFI-Demo next time? ;)
Thanks! I have finally found the time recently and uploaded a recording of the actual demo running on actual hardware. I wasn't very familiar with the submission process when I was at Revision, which is why what was shown there was a prerecording I made via QEMU. But the real deal actually works. If you flash the firmware image from the zip files to an actual X230, you will see the demo as in my recording on YouTube. :)
Regarding UEFI: That would make zero difference, really. It is merely an interface for boot mechanisms. I can add TianoCore instead of SeaBIOS as the payload, then there is UEFI, and push my code into it. You would see the same thing and it is quite trivial. ;) The only difference would be how it boots an operating system.
