Some great scenes, some looks like tooll2 examples. Also, neurofunk!

I'm not 100% convinced because I think the prod falls short here and there, when some effects feel like they're dragging for too long, or the flow losing momentum several times.

But I like the bold design that knows what it wants to be and how this hits the late 90s/early 2000s demo style.

I agree with Zavie. I really love what this demo is trying to do (and achieves in some places), but unfortunately a few scenes/affects drag it down. I still like it a lot though.

My personal favorite from the party. Several gorgeous screens including many which reminded me fondly of the early 2000s demoscene I fell in love with! And great tune/direction to boot.

I liked it. Some scenes were inconsistent and personally would've preferred more of the stuff that were in the begin. Music and overall experience pulled it through :)

proper! and what ferris said :)

Thanks for all the kind words, you lovely humans =)

We noticed that some people can't start the demo at all, as a file probably drank too much pepperschnapps, and stayed at home instead of traveling along in the ZIP.

Should the demo not start for you at all:
Create a file named porter.exe.config and place it next to the actual exe.
Copy/Paste this into the porter.exe.config:
Code:<?xml version="1.0"?> <configuration> <runtime> <loadFromRemoteSources enabled="true"/> <legacyCorruptedStateExceptionsPolicy enabled="true"/> </runtime> <startup> <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.5"/> </startup> </configuration>

Very random, but funny and very well synced. Some of the scenes looked sooo tasty. Enjoyable.

Nice prod! I found the first tunnel and the screenshot scene to be the superior among the pack of effects.

@mog are you suggesting this is a dot net-demo? (and if yes, is the whole thing dot-net?)
rulez added on the 2018-10-22 13:55:56 by hooverphonique hooverphonique
@hooverphonique: It's made with Tooll² by Framefield a.k.a. Still, so yes, most of it is .NET.

Varied selection of effects.. some great ones, some not great ones. Loved the style of the whole thing though

Reminded me a lot of early 2000 demos, in a good way. It's like an HD mix of several nu-school demos of that time. <3
