Because combining prods for amiga of 1987 and for some peecee of 2017 is not very sound idea (more on this here).
So you take it out on this prod because it was in a combined compo? Stay classy :/

this is just GREAT! :) mostly not so diffucult 2d effects but still very pleasant to watch and DAT SOUND! O_O
@lvd: so, "hiend demo" is supposed to be a pc/enhanced-amiga compo, and "lowend enhanced demo" accepts unexpanded amiga 500 prods (which your link-example satisfies but by unknown reason did participiated in hiend compo). so, thumbing down just because of mixing oldskool and modern machines in one compo (which is an result of orgas mistake or other prod author missubmission) is pretty unfair, isn't it?
or aturbidflow is just in your infamous "twat blacklist" and you are ready to thumbdown every prod made by list members? seems it looks like that ;)

lvd: What they are doesn't really matter. My point was that I don't understand your rationale for awarding them based on things that aren't the actual prod, and the way you did it does come off as insulting, yes. Certainly if this was a firstie of mine (not sure if it's a firstie or not) I'd feel rather discourarged and think I had broken some scene law.

Fell: yes, it is my first demo (if it could be named a demo =) ). But I've been on the demoscene for a year already, so I almost understand what is happening here and I'm not insulted.

Fell: I've seen many ways of 'awarding' basing on ANY things, even without any comments (as it is usual for party voting), should I then interpret them as insulting? According to the logic. I could give a thumb without any words -- is that insulting? I could say 'I don't like color palette at x:xx' -- still insulting? 'not working on my firefox in linux' -- more insulting, right? Well then, after all, I've seen here TRUE insulting thumbdowns, with REAL insults, and no Fell came and said like 'ah, that was insulting!'
