The YM2413 is the cut-down version of the chip used the infamous Adlib and Soundblaster cards. 4:35 and outwards in the youtube video: Frekkin Cool stuff.

Amazing sounds you managed to pull off with this in the vid, most of the games that had FM support barely had more complexity than a cheap yamaha keyboard demotune. Sucks that it wasn't utilized more, but then again, EU/US SMS systems never got this chip so games probably had FM as an afterthought.
