Very enjoyable, although I was somehow waiting for a "drop" of sorts. Felt a bit short because of that.

I felt like the music wasn't really pushed to its limits, which is a pity because the MD has a pretty awesome sound.

the only truly enjoyable thing was the logo at the end, I'm so, so sorry for not being able to thumb this ub :( Good effort, though!

Twin Peaks.

really liked the atmosphere. were the effects animation or realtime? cos it looked way more impressive than anything i've seen on MD yet. it's a pity it only came 3rd, was a really solid experience.

thumb up, but just because of the code and alien^pdx's logo. (so called) music is just plain awful.

Stylish, atmospheric, unusual. Great to see Mega Drive demoscene expanding, who's next?? :)

- First tunnel and bump mapping on MD?
- Interlaced logo at the end
- I like the way every second line is a slightly different palette
- Mega Drive.
- Intro glitches when running directly after flashing with everdrive
- Theres garbage pixels flashing between the top area of the screen and the reflection on real hardware
- The "music"
- The pacing/flow of the demo
- 'glitches' on real hardware here too (Everdrive)
- raping of my olde Limp Ninja logo , i would have happily converted and hand-dithered it for u.

+ effects
+ megadrive
+ shinobi
+ megadrive
+ megadrive

so, make moar megadrive pplz!! :D

I'll thumb up any, if only half-decent MegaDrive effort. Too bad it's so short and lacks any kind of direction, but it is, after all, a new MegaDrive prod, so thumbs up. One ♥ Love

I actually did not get the glitch on my Everdrive, intro worked fine (my Megadrive is the smaller MD2 model, and I used an Everdrive MD)

Some really nice looking chunky movetable effects, and the end interlace logo is sweet.

Alien: i think maxwell didn't want to bother you, this was a solo experiment with a happy end result :)

Nice effect, though demo is a bit short, also nice use of hardware features. Also, hey, more megadrive demos please!

Real hardware tests: MD 1 PAL (old model, no TMSS), Everdrive MD: no intro bug, but there are still those palette update bugs below the effect.

@twosixonetwo: if you got the Mega Everdrive try disabling the in-game menu in your cart, it's known to cause glitches since it patches the ROMs.

Nice effects, good to see a more modern-looking demo on the MD.

Ok, the thumbup for me goes up because of
66% -> the 2-note bass-"chords" are superb, most-well-chosen! ♥
33% -> Show me the according upcoming demo with those effects and i will love it for sure! ;)

I meant to ask in my previous comment, but it somehow slipped my mind. Is the title a reference to Twin Peaks by any chance?
added on the 2014-06-06 23:21:38 by Morden Morden
somehow did not like this one much at the party - maybe because of the ugly colourscheme

Nice stuff. Gfx are as always are smashing from Alien.
Could maybe have been more enjoyable with a more upbeat track and visuals adapted to that. But overall enjoyable.

+1 for MegaDrive.
+5 for nice effects.
+-1 wierd music.
-x, that cyan logo was the end? I'm confused.

Anyway, it seems to run fine on my MegaDrive 2 with a Mega Everdrive.

megadrive tunnels with a great logo at the end. I was expecting a dubstep part after the demo though :D
