Slideshows for another new VIC20-graphics mode (168*384 hires, 84*384 multicolor). 64512 pixels on a VIC-20 - eat that C64 :-)

Works ONLY on a real NTSC VIC-20 with at least 24K expansion, NOT in VICE, since VICE does not emulate the interlace feature of the 6560 (yet?)

Please find a YouTube Link for your viewing pleasure. Took some time to record and convert so it would look good on YouTube. I also updated the download-archive, since I found a minor bug in the loader. It would only work on 32K not 24K-expansions before. Since some fastloaders use BLK5 these were affected as well.

Love these hardware bending productions. For the lazily curious, how does this compare with the previous Vic 20 extended graphics slideshow I remember seeing from some time back?

You mean Yes VIC can, I guess. That one did 208x256 hires or 104x256 multicolor on an PAL-VIC20 and people asked for an NTSC-version. But the NTSC-VIC-chip has different number of rasterlines and cycles per line, so it needs a different program. The NTSC-VIC-chip also supports hardware-interlace, which allows for a higher resolution. So the knowledge of last years production combined with the wish to use the interlace feature lead to this. But since interlace is very difficult to use with projectors and the end-result IS just another VIC-20 slideshow (which I did last year) I decided to release this only out of competition.
