rrrola's success pushed up popularity of 256b :)

good 256b, but didn't like palette blinking.

so, I didn't code this therefor I can elaborate :P.
really horrible colors, and seriously, after seeing all those kickass 256b intros, this is pretty much meh. the only thing that prevents me from thumbing this down is a few notes here and there.

It does something nice, it makes a noise and it's 256b, that's good enough for a thumb in my book.

Not bad. I almost got a heart attack from the loud pc speaker. I think it is the first time I heard it since 3 years time :)

isn't this gargaj's code, with a different palette and camera movement?

I don't hear any sound... :( (perhaps I don't have any speaker tho, not sure)

ok, i ask one more time: how do you run 256b intros on vista? dosbox is too slow with this one. are there another options?

elfh: virtualbox runs them in about the same exact speed, give it a shot

Yeah, I agree with the horrid colors. They were much better before i did the "sync", but I wanted it in there so whatever.

I didn't do this for any party cause I knew it wouldn't be that good :)

iq: yeah it uses the PC internal speaker. Many newer machines will emulate it into the normal speakers but it seems yours won't.

Finally "real music" with a good effect! Whats next? :)

FYI, there are many more alternatives than dosbox. At least when running prods that don't access any advanced hardware features, any generic PC emulator such as qemu or vmware should suffice.
i really like this!!

The sounds and visuals aren't convincing enough for a thumbup, sorry.
Unfortunatelly I can't run this under vista and dosbox is too slow for it. Looks good though.

hehe, even with dynamic music and sync! :D

A bit annoying pseudo-music, ugly bars (edited screenshot). At first glance looks for me like cool mix of Planes and Fire/Ice. Smooth coloring and some polishing would be welcome - work longer next time.
rulez added on the 2009-09-25 20:34:55 by Pirx Pirx
Pirx: screenshot was not edited, it was taken from DosBox since I didn't know any other way to get it. The only "editing" was scaling down, which I suppose could eliminate the bars a bit..just know it wasn't deliberate :) And point taken about working longer; this is all I've been able to do after school and such but had I postponed the release I could've made it better.

I think the pallet could have been better but it has sound so I know those bytes went to some use :D
