Previously mentioned emulator is fine for sound demos of ZX81 (there are not many of them but they're still interesting considering the computer is supposed to have NO sound at all :-) ) but it is too complicated for outsiders.

The comp has 1Kb or RAM (with possibility of extention to 16Kb or more), no sound (well, in specification You will find such an info), only black/white colours and resolution 32*24. The comp is simply a CPU with some RAM on the mainboard, nothing more.
Therefore demos for this machine are rather non-typical, You can guess. :) :)
Author of this demo - TED - achieved almost 10 seconds of video at 12 frames/sec fit in 16Kb. :)
