A deepness in the flash, sans the cool. Technically probably quite nice but I didn't want to watch it for very long.

Pretty Mfx but why not?
This is very mfx'ish, which seems to be the thing that flash scene is going slowly towards, mainly for reason that mfx demos have always been light on performance requirments but heavy on visual pleasing effect.
This demo seems to use the same per face depth-of-field rendering that i've been thinking of implementing in our engines for months.
Good to see it actually works out pretty well. It's going to be huge competition between evoflash and minority at Asm08 for best flash demo, now that jac/lume has joined evoflash.

Looks nice, but it is very boring;

If it looks like MFX it's because the rules of the competition were to do something MFXish.

Nice hand with envmap and focal blur and stars but it gets boring too quickly.
The democompos idea was to make singlepart demo. That's why the repetitiveness and lack of progression. Also, please go to flashscene.org and put vote the top3 demos.
