no, I tried it on two different 030 accelerators, with and without startup sequence/CPU cache/etc. and in every case nothing happens after I run it... Same thing in WinUAE.

It appears to not like relocated VBR, so you should try either booting without startup sequence (and NOT running setpatch), or disabling it some other way (using cpucontrol or similar).
Works fine as long as you set your VBR to $0 and have crm.library installed. Quite nice for its day, could've done without the "noise" though.
