This was made as an entry to the TMDC 10 this year,but I cann't send my entry,the mail box blocked,the website cann't submit either.and Finally I realize I don't care about the contest and the rank,I just want do something and I did it,that's enough. The music was cut from a commercial CD,but this demo was made based the song,hope I will found a musicaian next time.

Hey, this one was pretty cool! The effects could be laid a bit better in the sense that now it was just three scenes repeating, but the raytracer looked good, as did the textmode converter.
i dont like the music, but the visuals are c00l...

For the demo: not bad at all considering. It could do with some structure, rather than just looping a few effects - try finding a few different things to do with each effect, so you can make it last longer if you haven't got enough to last for a whole demo.
I didn't really like the music, but then I can't understand the lyrics and without the lyrics there's not much song left. I'm curious though, I've heard quite a lot of chinese music but this sounds strange. It sounds like mandarin, but with an accent perhaps, or maybe it's another dialect? It's not cantonese, I can tell that :) Where's it from?

This demo was made in a chinese style,the text below the screen is a famous logion from an ancient chinese philosopher,which guide dedicated people to follow thier steps .
The song seem weird to west people, the singer with heavy accent,:) but it's popular in china,and I like it, it's some kind of rock&roll,but not that heavy.The lyrics is nice,that's way I choose this song,it wroten with an good attitude of life. maybe someday I can explain it to you.

Indeed, the music was pretty bad (of course I didn't understand the lyrics which might make a difference) and there were basically 3 scenes that were repeated all the time. Those scenes were rather nice though, good raytracer, though there were some artifacts here and there. You could try different camera viewpoints for each iteration of a scene, to give it an illusion of variety ;)
