No fastloader, even turns of existing ones...
A version with a fastloader will be released later this week.

@vscd: it turns off nothing, it just uses the kernal loader which is dead slow.

Scout: While crossdevelopment without doubt is one of the most powerful tools an oldschool programmer can have, an emulator should at least do the job of running stuff, right?
Actually never mind, seems like the emulator fucked up when I tried it for the first time, but went through when I tried it again right now. Loadtime is a freaking pain. Content is what one would expect. Will thumb this one a fastloader version is released.

ShockWav3! "oldschool" is not with crossdevelopment - thats newschool, i think, but it's damn powerful. Especially if you can emulate expensive Hardware. The "demo" doesn't run on my emulator either (VicePlus 0.9, with tru1581emulation or not...). Screens lasts normal after the 25th file. Nothing happens...

For some reason when I first tried the demo, the loader froze at file 5 (I think I can say that, as I waited 2 minutes in warp mode), while I never had doubts this demo works on real hardware, I think it may have been a bug in the emulation causing the loader to freeze. I just rechecked today with the same settings and it worked.
vscd: let's just stick with the phrase oldschool platforms (although not applyable here) then. Try WinVICEplus-v1.0-1.22, which worked for me.
