acumen's wild demo on asm2k1. very different from all other 'bad-home-movie'-crap wilds, a serious production about horrors of war. the approach may be a bit over-sentimental, but still it's an interesting prod.

BTW, did he have the permission to use all those photographs? Interesting idea tho.

afair, all audiovisual or printed material that's older then 40 years is not subject to copyright, unless author/author's inheritants/trustees state otherwise. but I might be wrong. 8)

otherwise good, but the finnish flag and the "i love you"-thingy in the end ruined it. still beats all those crappy home videos though..

Since mr. Lator's email seems to be out of order, I'll comment your accusations here. For the first time I visited Pouet.net and noticed your .. hhmmm... should I say "interesting" comments on my "World War II memoirs" work. I wanted to contact you in the first place cause your comments and thoughts of my attentions were all wrong. How could I have made it for money, I only got prizes by coming to 2nd place at Asm'01. And if you think making a 5min movie out of still pictures with movement and adding an original soundtrack is easy, I suggest you try to make one yourself and see how it can swallow up hundreds of hours.

However the comments by other people of the ending are very accurate in my own opinion aswell, and a "Special Edition" version will be released (hopefully in DivX aswell) which will correct these mistakes made in a hurry. Also the usage of these wartime photograps was ok, they were all public domain. Thank you for the comments, and all the best to you all.

this thumb goes up because of the idea and memory of those people that suffered and died out there. The place to show this one just wasn't right place I think. I can imagine that the took lots of time to compose and fit in the tune. (But I can't see what would be the hard thing in putting that visual material up in less than 2h)

This one totally silenced the party hall. Major respect for the hard subject and bringing it to the public. I find this one to be very touching
