oh man.. this converter is nearing its tenth birthday.
a warning, this was made before it v2.14, which compresses samples and confuses it2xm. as a workaround, save the .it in "2.xx" format or with some clone like chibitracker.

i remember some nice stories on how the coder converted from it2.14 without hearing the original first and ended up making this thing with some trendy noises unintended by the musician on the soundtrack :D

I'm very much with ilmarque but BOY did I use this a lot to make coops with it users (and boy, did the end result usually sound wonky as tits :D)
