quite fluffy imho. kudos to the ecfh guys for taking their box up to the compoarea so that we could run this without a headache :)
#!/bin/sh
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./lib/

i find it incredibly ironic (and therefore, quite humorous) that a linux-demo is named "out of touch".
I am trying to think of a witty reply concerning the terms "demoscene" and "the gathering" to counter that irony statement, but it just doesn't come out nicely. Sorry :)
I liked the fact that ecfh was back in action though :)
shifter: it might be because it's probably been said before a gazillion times, in some form or another. the funny thing is that, despite how much the american press seems to believe it; repeating something over and over doesn't make it true. :)
if someone would get a capture working of the prod, i'll comment on that too. :)

They are back :)
For people with SElinux, you have to disable it.
For people with SElinux, you have to disable it.
- edit /etc/sysconfig/selinux and set SELINUX to disabled or permissive, and do:
- Code:
chcon -t texrel_shlib_t ./lib/libfmod-3.75.so
Okay, now it's time for the linux people to show that their prods can be ported too, right? :)
first of all, outline was a great party! thank you organizers and cool atari sceners for supplying us with quality time!
my apologies for the low quality of this pc demo -- it was obviously only a for fun demo, and it only came 2nd because all other demos were pretty crappy as well :)
it should be fairly trivial to port this mess to the other OS, as source is included, but frankly *i* couldn't care less.

it looks slick. especially since most of linux productions are unfortunately quite ugly.
I like the fact waffle's ports run with a good ol' double click. Fuck if I can get this prod to run.
Linux still has a ways to go in the multimedia department...

thom, macosx intros don't fare well that much either by that silly test.
The "silly test" of not been able to run a demo on my machine, even if it is running intended OS? I don't call that silly.
cubes ;)
