very intriguing!!!!!!
interesting
tricky
doesn't work on w2ksp4 either
Works on normal WinXP too, really nice way of bytecrunchery, altho i guess using peci's method you could crunch even more.
Man, using the pe header to store code have been done several times & several years ago by everybody and their dog.
wtf?
WOW, and you managed to squeeze that amazing thing in 256b!
So it takes 204 whole bytes solely to set the name of the application and the content of the message box. :p
"you are cool"
omfg you rule.... not
wow :P
i want my 5 seconds back
o_Ô
i've seen this before.
i've seen this before.
i think messagebox was done a few years ago in ~180 bytes.
make demos not stubs
not entertaining.
Been there, done that.

Nah
Guys, be a bit more forgiving, this might very well be the first sign from the chinese demoscene :)
no..
yes..
This application itself has little or no meaning.
But the act of tweaking PE has a technological significance,
because it's an essential technique for writing one's own executable packer.
I've made a similar one (shows msgbox in 233b) in other times.
I know from past experience that keeping such a thing executable is never easy,
due to XPSP2's execution prevention feature.
Good job.
