Getting first place while using gen ai in your production which is against the compo rules?

I guess the weird part about this one is while the entries in Revision that used gen ai had it be the main focus, this one just isn't? Like it's a game, but the game part doesn't use Gen AI. Instead the ending screen that showed at the end of the submission at Evoke (and not at any part connected to the game's content!) clearly had a Gen AI logo with a Gen AI background.

I'm pretty sure the title screen has it too, it's a bit hard to tell because of the size and limited color palette (it probably got cleaned up manually a ton), but like, that face, it looks exactly how Gen AI makes "cartoony" faces, doesn't look like how the credited graphician has historically made faces, and oh yeah, they already used gen ai in relation to this game!

The fact that it's in Anti-AIx3 Evoke is still odd to me, I mean sneaking Gen AI into the interactive compo of all places is wild. But I don't blame the orgas at all for any of this, they did their best. <3

The S is an extremely big give away, it just has no consistent line thickness, and it also curves towards the camera while simultaneously not? The thing that tipped me off was the word "BEER" as the lighting and shading just looks so unnatural and not like a human did it.

Again with the title screen there probably had to be a lot of manual clean up, and most of it actually looks normal, it's just the guy who looks weird and has that sheen. One that, yet again, isn't really present in the vast majority of the graphician's other work.

Minebrandon. There is no AI in the Game which lead me serious to the question if you A. paranoic or B just like to stress around for the sake of fun ?

However, everything has been said. But maybe changing the daily dose will calm you down and stop you seeing AI ghosts where non exists

Well yeah I agree, the game part of the game seems entirely normal, which makes the whole ending screen separate from the game at evoke seem so out of left field. (also I meant loading screen not title screen)


Well I've shown that image to some people and they all seemed to think it's gen AI too, I did it in the demoscene discord and no one thought that it wasn't and just thought that the orgas let it through intentionally (as a gen ai image) to avoid being "mean". So I don't understand what kind of switch happened where now everyone is saying that it's not gen ai?

The Game doesn't consist of AI but if your only purpose in the scene is to piss on others people, you won't not last very long. As said in Discord, keep your act together and stop when people tell you to stop.

The fact is clear : the game doesn't consists of AI and thats all. You should consider your behave here and in general.

Nice game. Would be a nice touch if the player-sprite turn more and more from white to blue the more it »rescues« beers. ;o)

the used palette at the shown stages gave me nightmare in the dark (neogeo) vibes on the bigscreen and i dig that game. and what gaspode said. a drunk character would make a lot possible in terms of annoying challenging the player :D anyway, well done!
