It's a c2p-technique i worked out initially for "88 seconds of fame" i call c2p7. It's actually limited to 3 bits per pixel, but it fits nicely into unrolled or generated code. Reading, converting and putting a pixel to screen sums up to a mere 20 cycles.
This little intro wields over almost 20000 non-contiguous chunky pixles in below 3 frames. Plus the copying of the arbitrary lines for the blur, the palette management, self-modifying lenghty Timer B routines and the scroller that isn't brown enough, it's a tad slower than i wished it would have been.
