Not a bad demo, but I prefer clearly the previous software based demos (but has nothing to do with the fact that it's hw accelerated).

Forgot to mention that it didn't restored my original desktop resolution
added on the 2003-07-03 23:41:28 by Crest Crest
Yes,. and the same happened to me. And ugh,. the resolution remained after the reboot and ugh, the desktop in this netcafe is locked and I can't change it back to the original. I browse the net ultralarge..

Anyways,. it looked like using a commercial punk song or anything, with nice design, but something is missing to make it so good in my eyes..

Sort of okay. Is the music ripped? Not sure, but the Britney photos are probably original. Yup. No doubt in my mind.

One more thing, is it just me, or is the guy sometimes singing "wexploding teenage wee-motions"?? What's the significance of this? Secret subliminal messages?
The song is by the drive-ins, whose bass-player is a friend of mine. I once showed him some demos, and he asked me if I could make a demo with one of their songs. So I did. It's as simple as that. There is no big artistic or technical ambition behind this, but it was fun to do.

This is a party version, and it doesn't restore the desktop resolution due to some obscure bug. We might release a final someday :)

Wee!!! None-ripped punk music. Bonus points in your pants!!!
I must say that i kinda like it, reminds me of SW days, but i still think they should stick with they really good SW engine, it has the fealing ;)

i like this one very much =) effects, colors, fonts, pics, design, music, all are making this demo a damn sexy clip !

only minus is the singer voice :] and accent (?) is that band english native ? Do the subtitles exactly match the lyrics as Thom wondered too ?

I like the way Mike*WTsoftware is so subtle in his comments.

Demos are not made to be the support of an artist to the format mp3 some it is. Perhaps you could have found a better song and I would have given you a thumb !
sucks added on the 2003-07-04 11:08:02 by daddyvx daddyvx
Well, the name of the song is "exploding teenage emotions" but he do sing "weeexploding teenage weemotions"
Daddyvx, your taste concerning demo-music is YOUR taste. If you want other music, remove the mp3 in the directory (write down the name first) and then put a new (preferably your favourite song) mp3 there.. and rename it.. tadaaa..

Are you serious?
In that case: congratulations that you've managed to keep the visuals and the music so... eum... ... loosly coupled.

the "arrangement" of the demo feels kinda rushed but i think all the scenes are veery pretty :D

it's cool to hear some drive-ins punkrock track in a demo! ;) the design is well made also.
It should have more sinchro and more scenes, but I had fun seeing it!! :)

I liked this one, even the song, but I have to pigface because of the technical problems. Yeah, it left my desktop horked up as it did to others and also a DOS box appeared over top of the demo at first with some message about not being able to find a texture. I clicked on the demo window and it was on top again.

unfortunately wasted for a boring demo.

musically ok, but visually even your average flash joke anims are much better. face it: this sucks.
plus, it destroyed my screen-resolution, thus also my icons. triple thumb downs!!!

best joke demo around.

not very entertaining, nor funny...

I dislike the soundtrack and there's nothing interesting in the effects. Thinking positively, it's nice to have another demo with an unconventional music. Just that I've heard better punk rock.
sucks added on the 2006-02-06 23:48:17 by slux slux
Punk with clean and silk visuals... like some classical music with trashy visuals... doesn't resonate.
I think that making a demo with punk music is not a so easy task.
Maybe if it wass all B&W it would have ruled.
