Nice screen !
Good work porting the Amiga effect to the 8bit Atari !
Does it work on a non memory expanded machine ?

Yes, is requires only 64k and it even leaves $700 to $1fff untouched so you can load from/return to normal DOS. But almost every other bit is used ;-)
yeah, nice !
awww! :)
nice!
yep..i like this one..looks very nice
looks like Amiga! this best Atari prod since Ilusia demo by Tebe&Powrooz&String in march 2009
Nice colours and 505 zik :-)
Really nice one. Catchy music, nice rainbow on mars, thumbs up
Amiga screens need computer power - only the XE has it!
Really nice intro. The rainbow is now much more a rainbow than in the Amiga version. It makes use of more colors than in the original :)

8bit power!
Deserves a better logo but still rules!
Wow! Thanks for all that positive feedback. This really motivates me to upload my other releases - and think about the next one ;-)
Yeah, good oldschool chiptunes!
Phenomena rules! Music rox!! But the logos... well try to be more stylish next time fellaz!
Well, as for the logo I must admit that it was created right at the party place last time using...
and the only intention was to have a first test for the 2 bitplane cross fader.

But since I'm experienced in coding but not in painting, the "1 bit style" remained. Clearly any pixel artist may feel free to help me in this respect next time ;-)
Code:
; Every pattern is 5*8 = 40 bytes plus toplines color bytes
tophomepattern
.byte ~01100001,~10111111,~11011111,~11111011,~11111100
.byte ~01100001,~10111111,~11011111,~11111011,~11111100
.byte ~01100001,~10110000,~11011001,~10011011,~00000000
.byte ~01111111,~10110000,~11011001,~10011011,~11111100
.byte ~01111111,~10110000,~11011001,~10011011,~11111100

Original "Rainbow on Mars" animation ported from the 1991 Amiga release Joyride from Phenomena back in 1992. And just 17 years later I managed to release it ;-)
