Thanks to Commodore, Jay Miner's spirit has been preserved also through the Amiga.

RIP Jay Miner

The first newschool Atari 8-bit demo I saw, of course it rocks!

The tune perfectly fits the fast visuals. Anyone who does not have a Pokey chip to listen to should go and get one ;-).

PS: The ATR-file is 16k - sometimes that makes me think how...

Chessboards, colorful plasmas and filled vectors - what more could you want?
OK, some perspective projection on the vectors perhaps, but other than that a very, very nice little demo!

This is one of my favorite demos (why it named intro here?) for XL/XE. Somewhat simple, but there is some magic in the chessboard. And the effects are all smooth and fast, that's great.
rulez added on the 2009-07-19 14:39:31 by Shiru Shiru
OMG never thumbed this one?

Yeah yeah, gets repetitive after a while, but goddamn this ROCKS so hard it hurts. Besides, the driving soundtrack by X-Ray doesn't let you get boring (as well as the fx having good variations).

Great code by Fox and awesome music by X-Ray :)

One effect demo. Good one. But the music... Gosh..
Atari simply SUXX with its lame Pokey (with only few exceptions...).
Rulez for everything but music (sorry, XRay).
