So here's a random thought - since DOSBox is too slow to be able to emulate most new 256bs decently, I wonder how much work would it be to make a JIT-based tinytro VM? -
https://github.com/leecher1337/ntvdmx64 - there's also this thing, which still required leaked sources to compile. seems promising though. - Actually, how about a full tinytro editor that 1. compiles your intro 2. after testing for valid compilation, does some basic replacements on memory IO / interrupts / etc, compiles and 3. runs it? With LIBYASM it seems doable.

The ZZT-oop language is limited in application. It was designed for simplicity rather than flexibility. Boolean flags are the only kind of variables, making arithmetic quite difficult. -
