Best way to do source control? Zip it and send it as an email attachment to yourself. Fed up with everything else :P -
37 is the age of death of Van Gogh, 13 the proof he did not do suicide. he wanted to shoot rats on the land, and fall the gun in his hand... -
igor van goth -
Thanks to nVidia I nearly formatted my PC. They just released a patch to GeForce Experience fixing a huge memory leak that was caused by something in the recent update. -

Is Scenemusic podcast by Rayn still up? Rediscovered I had podcast number 7, 12 and 13 stored on my hardrive, but before that I've looked for them and the rest of the podcast. -
todays news: my headphones are receiving radio interference from an LG smartphone. oh and there is at least one person in the world that recently started to hate trackers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZjPAsBoGjg -
Or Renoise at least. And Kizzume does have a point. -
Sure he has. But i wouldn't try to paint small but highly detailed pictures with a tassel for twelve years only to find out that a brush is more suitable. Not the tassel's fault, even though it truly sucks for the job.. besides that he's simply wrong on some points. -
I don't think that's a good point because Renoise could easily be a more serious compositional tool as well. There's no good reason to neglect that aspect. -
a tracker as always been a tool for sophisticated music _programming_ rather than highly accurate live recording of midi events. a lot of problems he reports are unknown to any other renoise user (sudden octave/basenote change, setting noteoff (changable),unsmooth pitchbends (use automation!), etc.) -
That's just appeal to tradition. There's no reason to diversify the compositional capabilities as well as there are plenty of simple yet effective improvements possible. -

what you're saying is: opt for sth. that doesn't match your preference in order to hope for someone to make it match, just because it has the potential to be developed the way you want it to? rather do that than pick up sth. that's suitable in the 1st place? thats just as absurd as self-centered. -
programming music is not for hipsters :D -
neglect the negligee -
automation for pitchbends! and note-ons.
