I'm stuck at OpenGL 2.1 :( -
Poor you. Any chance on projecting the range of your interest to <0, 1> ? -
The last OpenGL 2.1 compatible card was probably built in the 80s. -
Surely is possible, but could I lose precision? I am doing a big fat ass blur/diffusion thing for AI path finding, so I want pixel sources to "spread" as much as possible. -
why 2.1?! -
las: Because I'm programming on an IBM t60 with a x1300 Mobility. Anyway, I got floating point textures to work, and it does so flawlessly, so YAY :) -
2.1<3 -
11.1 <3 -
my card only does 11.0 :( -
oh shit so does mine :( -
dang, we should both upgrade! -
That's why I like Macs, you can buy the most expensive GPU there is out there.. and it will still only support OpenGL 2.1 .. or wait.. that's quite bad actually -
but why?!?! -
your argument is invalid, pre-mountain lion macos supported GL core profile. things got way much worse if you tried to turn to compatibility profile - by rights you ended up with something like 2.1 or 2.2 :) -
I have Mountain Lion on a Retina mac and according to OpenGL Extenstions Viewer I have OpenGL 2.1 support.. So that is invalid? -
https://developer.apple.com/graphicsimaging/opengl/capabilities/ says 3.2 -
I know.. that what makes it more annoying -
What if you run Windows on the machine? -
you'll get a working OS and better GPU support? :) -
screw dieting, let's have some DEMOISH CAKE. http://www.neatorama.com/2011/07/20/mobius-cake/ -
choose zero polys and carbs -
Inge Koschmidder fickt den Briefträger! Und alle sollen es erfahren! Inge, DU HURE!!! -
yeah, that's what terribly sucks about apple's attitude. screw the users, let's put them in th ice age and force to use oldschool GL standards :) -
Yes! This oneliner was written with self-made SOLAR POWER!! :) -
That love :D
