noone was condescending, but considering how unity already has a renderer and a physics engine, you gotta wonder how much actual code was involved - If he had only done it in 4k! Than it would have been REAL ART and not some 'hipster shit' herp derp i'm a demoscener.

I thought the still life sucked and the implementation didn't really cut it, but the idea is great. If it had looked like a *good* still life, and was rendered better than "average game" quality it would rule hard. - the PROBLEM with the article is the title: "this proves code is art", which is rubbish, because it's the IDEA and not the CODE that's the focus of the piece, hence it "proves" nothing at all

in all demo coders, there is a young dude who wants to be cool. - maybe all demos should flash "I CODED ALL THIS MYSELF AND DID ALL THE PHYSICS" throughout.

remember: zero shaders and zero physics - 4mat: buuuut I'm a poor stupid musician who can only USE softwares, I CAN CODE (because I'm lazy too...)
- 4mat: in demos, that's more or less the norm, therefore it isn't required. in NU-MEDIA!!!111, form goes ahead of function. i'm not saying it's a bad thing, but at least name it correctly :)
- IT is not a software, sorry.
- gloom: don't expect people understand, they just post. At least, some are interested about "nu media" as in "nu stuff" :)
